TV wall mounting
On the wall and working, not just on the wall.
It depends on the wall more than the TV.
Brick, block and plaster

Height, and the bracket itself

Priced by screen size.
Mounting is priced by screen size, on a standard stud-and-drywall wall:
- Up to 55 inches — $99.99
- 56 to 70 inches — $149.99
- 71 inches and over — $199.99
Any other kind of wall, please ask. Brick, block, concrete, or older plaster with lath behind it all need different fixings and more time, so we quote those before the day rather than on it. If you are not sure what your wall is, a photo usually tells us.
Wall mount hardware is not included. We can supply a bracket at an additional cost, or fit one you have already bought — whichever you prefer.
A flat $19.99 call-out fee covers the trip, the same anywhere in our service area. It is held on a card before we travel rather than charged: if the work goes ahead it comes off the price, so you pay the mounting price and nothing more. If no work goes ahead, the $19.99 is all you pay.
Quoted before we drill.
Above the fireplace is usually too high.
It is the spot almost everybody asks for, and it puts the screen well above eye level for anyone sitting down. Watching it means looking up for hours, and heat rising from a working fireplace is not good for the television either.
We will mount it there if that is what you want — it is your room, and sometimes there is genuinely nowhere else. But we will tell you first, and suggest a tilting bracket to take the worst of the angle off.
