Pickup & delivery is a flat $19.99. That covers collecting the machine and bringing it back when the work is done, the same anywhere in our service area. It is held on a card beforehand rather than charged, and you pay it along with the service when we hand the machine back — by card or cash. If no work goes ahead, the $19.99 is all you pay.
Or drop it off and collect it yourself — then there is no fee, and no card hold either. We will arrange the spot when we schedule.
A fresh Windows installation starts at $199.99, which includes the Windows license itself as well as the installation and configuration.
A Linux installation is $99. It costs less because the operating system itself is free — there is no license to buy.
Parts, licenses, and third-party services are priced separately when applicable.
No fix, no fee.
Sometimes the machine simply cannot run it.
Windows 11’s hardware requirements rule out a lot of computers that are otherwise working perfectly well. There are ways of forcing an install onto unsupported hardware, and we will tell you honestly when that is a bad idea — an unsupported machine can stop receiving updates, which defeats the reason most people are upgrading in the first place.
This is where Linux is worth a serious look. It runs well on hardware that Windows 11 rejects, it keeps receiving security updates, and at $99 it costs less than half what a Windows installation does, because the operating system itself is free. For a computer used mainly for the web, email and documents, it is often a better answer than replacing a machine that still works.
And if none of it is worth doing, we will say that too. Staying on what you have, upgrading the hardware, or replacing the machine are all real options depending on what you use it for.
